Book Review: Six of Crows

March 5, 2021
Six of Crows is an excellent novel that switches points of view between all of the main characters. It’s a good read for fans of fantasy books and people who don’t mind violence. The plot of this book is about a drug that enhances people with magic power but also makes them go insane. A teenage criminal named Kaz gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance at a heist to kidnap the person who creates this drug . Kaz could get lots and lots of money by kidnapping the person you creates this drug, but if he fails he will most likely die and end up prisoner at one of the highest tech prisons in the world. If Kaz doesn’t pick the right people to help him with this mission it could go very wrong, and the team might kill each other even if they survive the heist.
Six of Crows is filled with plot twists, romance, and high stakes. I thought this was a very interesting and entertaining book that I couldn’t put down until I got to the last page. The cliffhanger at the end made it even more exciting to get to the next book in the series to find out what Kaz and his crew will be up to next.
